Information About Getting Married At Christ Church
Congratulations!
We rejoice with you on your upcoming marriage and look forward to getting to know you and
working with you as fellow members of the body of Christ. The most important
thing we can do for you is to provide a firm foundation on which to begin your
marriage. Through counseling, fellowship, mentoring, support, prayer and
encouragement we seek to show you God’s plan for marriage.
Getting Started
Your first call will be to the pastor you wish to officiate at the ceremony and conduct the
pre-marital counseling. The pastors can be reached during business hours by
calling the church office (602) 955-4830. Pastor will then check his
availability as well as the facilities schedule. He will then reserve your date
and time for the wedding, rehearsal, and your first appointment for pre-marital
counseling.
A wedding coordinator will contact you and set up a time to meet with you and
discuss the wedding day, the ceremony, and show you the facilities, as well as
be at the rehearsal and wedding to make sure things go as smoothly as possible.
Pre-Cana Event
The Pre-Cana Event is a Friday evening and Saturday morning event with other pre-marriage
couples covering a variety of topics including Christian marriage, couples’
dialogue, expectations, and sexual intimacy. Materials are included.
Pastor will coordinate dates and registration.
