I am currently on my internship year of schooling at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. A life-long Cubs fan, I was born and raised in the great city of Chicago. At Concordia River Forest, while studying theology, I met my darling wife Erin, a pastor's daughter and social worker from Columbus, Indiana. I have a heart for moving youngsters along in their faith, and I work closely with the youth group here at CCL as well as running the service and preaching at CCL's Sunday night youth-led worship gathering called The Stand. I also teach sophomore theology at Valley Lutheran High School. I whole-heartedly believe Paul's words in his letter to the Romans, that we are called to be transformed by changing the way that we think, and filling our hearts and minds with the words and thoughts of our Lord Jesus.
