Cheryl has served as principal of CLS since 2006, following 3 years as assistant principal and several years of teaching at the school. Prior to moving to Phoenix, Cheryl served as a missionary wife in Bangkok, Thailand for 8 years with her husband, Jeff, and 3 children, Megan, Joshua, and Emily.
She received a BS in Elementary Education degree from Winthrop University (Rock Hill, SC), an MA in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Leadership Studies from Azusa Pacific University (Azusa, CA), Lutheran Teachers’ certificate (colloquy program) from Concordia University (Irvine, CA), and expects to complete her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) program in May, 2012 in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University (Phoenix, AZ).
Cheryl enjoys time with her family, travel, and playing the organ/piano. She loves to find ways to link people and their gifts in new, fun, and creative ways to make an impact for the sake of God’s kingdom!
