Provided at the picnic are hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, drinks and all the fix’ins. Please bring a dessert to share.
Activities
After lunch there will be games and activities for all ages. We will have a bounce house plus old fashioned picnic games including sack races, an egg toss and 3-legged races. Come and enjoy.
Bake Off
Included in the festivities is a good old fashioned bake off. If you have the best apple pie recipe this side, or any side of the Mississippi River, please bring it along for judging. Stories about the history of the pie are also welcome. If you have the best chili recipe this side of Texas, bring a pot of it to see how it ‘heats up’ to other recipes. The decision of the judges is final, but not always correct. So, bring along those pies and chili pots!
